Harvey Guerra Jr., a 23-year-old racer from Carlsbad, New Mexico, poses with the '79 Trans Am Street Stock he races at Carlsbad Speedway. He's been around race cars his entire life. Harvey's father raced on the Carlsbad dirt track for 23 years. Harvey took over the racing duties in 1995 when illness left his father unable to race.
