Kyle and I both were raw rookies when we started. I had never even driven around a track until that night in Columbia. Kyle had been to a lot of races, but he didn't know beans about driving until he started that ARCA race and won it at Daytona.
Today it is a different story. Kids come along now and start racing Winston Cup when they are 20 or 21; but, heck, they have 15 years of racing experience by the time they are 20 or 21.
And they know a whole lot about racing, too.
