Yet, when there is a racing accident, we don't always know what caused the problem, or what could have been done to prevent the wreck. It's the same way with highway accidents. Safety folks may not know for sure if what happened in this such and such accident could have been prevented, but they study the situation and keep trying.
Getting to Winston Cup is not easy. My suggestion is to start early in life and make sure racing is what you really want to do. Then, try not to stay in one spot too long. Move on up the ladder as quickly as you can. Study hard in school and be a good student. This is very important. The big sponsors in Winston Cup want a clean-cut kid who talks well, dresses well, and races hard.
