Doing the Twist: Checking Fastener Tightness
Once you've cut a piece of wire and threaded it through a nut or bolt, grip the wire with the pliers and twist. If the wire needs to be adjusted, remove it from the pliers and wind or unwind by hand to the correct length. Then, thread the wire through the next nut or bolt and twist. Cut off the excess wire and use needle-nose pliers to bend the end into a pigtail. View Related Article
