If you have the opportunity to see a car in this form, look carefully. Everything is exposed for easy inspection. This makes it easy to check for good parts and lets you select what you want. Notice the lightened motor plate on this car.

This car&8217s top was not removed during construction. Sliding my fingers around the top of the cage weld joint revealed no weld present on the top side. Look closely at a car built this way because there may be other structure flaws.

You may find a car that has been damaged, but repairs, if done properly, can help the value. This one is being professionally repaired at Hoosier Tire Southwest. Repairs are a sizeable part of their business during the season. Don&8217t be afraid of a correctly repaired car.

A Street Stock with a few nice touches. There are homemade breathers connecting the valve covers. It has an aluminum radiator with no visible damage. Inside, there’s a manufactured seat and removable steering wheel. It has been run hard with occasional engine breakage, but it is a good car. It&8217s not pretty, but still able to race and could be a good buy
