Stripping out the interior revealed a problem. On these sheetmetal unibody cars, a bent rear fender can be more than a bent fender. With everything in sight, it was obvious the bent fender had wrinkled the floorpan as well as sheetmetal all over the car. This meant the suspension geometry might now be located somewhere south of its original location.
