Examine the angle of your shocks. The angle of the shocks has an effect on how well they are working. This is a little different for the coilover setup that most Late Model teams use. But if you are using a big spring setup, make sure they are not at an excessive angle, especially around the front two shocks. If they are at the wrong angle, the car will not travel correctly and the steering wheel will feel very erratic.
Your spring rubbers can become a quick and easy fix.Buy spring rubbers! In the rush of hot laps or practice, one of the quickest things to make an impact on your car is to simply put a spring rubber in the spring. From my experience, adding a spring rubber will add about 50 pounds of spring rate. That is easily enough to tell a difference.
Zero HourThe American Heritage Dictionary defines zero hour as "the scheduled time for the start of an operation or action, especially a concentrated military act." That's just it-the time is now for you to start making sure that everything is perfect on your chassis and to start finishing up front on a more consistent basis.
