Circle Track , known as the "racers resource," is the acknowledged voice of authority and technical guide to oval track racing. Stock Car Racing , now in its 35th year of publication, is the nations largest and best-selling automotive racing magazine. Together these publications reach nearly two million fans, professional racers and amateur participants.
"This alliance makes perfect sense as our market-leading magazines, events and other properties directly reach NASCARs core audience and closely match FXs audience demographics," said emap usa s Motorsports Group Director Steve Zepezauer. "We are enthusiastic about the long-term benefits to both parties and look forward to other marketing and promotional opportunities."
"Here at FX, we are looking to raise awareness of the Busch Series and connect fans with the drivers, and emap usas knowledge of the NASCAR marketplace and connection to the audience is extremely valuable as we work to build FX as an exciting destination for motorsports racing action," commented Chris Carlisle, Sr. Vice President, FX Marketing & Promotions.
The afternoon and evening airings of "Saturdays Are Born To Be Wild" with NASCAR on FX feature primarily Busch Series racing. Coverage also includes several Winston Cup races, including the coveted, star-studded "Winston" event from Charlotte, North Carolina on Saturday, May 19.
