25 Years Ago"Last year, NASCAR permitted a variance of two inches (51-53) in the roof height, but was thinking of establishing a standard height for 1978. An inch or two in height doesn't appear to make that much difference, but builders say that when the inch or two is spread all over the car, the difference can be a mile."-From a Stock Car Racing column by Bob Myers, February 1978
