We get a lot of entries for the Young Racers' Club where brothers, sisters, fathers, and mothers write in to enter the racer in their life for a chance at one of our $250 gift certificates. But when this month's random drawing produced a letter from somebody's grandfather, we thought that was a first. Alan Bruton's grandfather, J.M., writes:
"I'm very proud of Alan, not only is he a good kid but he picked up racing easily. He is a senior at Lawrence County High School in Moulton, Alabama. He started racing at 16 years old in 2006 and came in Seventh in points at Moulton Speedway. In 2007, he won the Mini Stock points championship by 320 points over the Second Place driver. His car was a Toyota 4 cylinder. We have sold the car and are undecided as to which direction to go in racing as of now."

There is no cost to join the Young Racers' Club. The club is open to racers between the ages of 16 and 23. Please include a picture of the car and a picture of yourself when sending the entry form. Pictures cannot be returned. Complete rules on page 79.
